Owner and Angel designer. Debra Waggoner. Began HER initial cottage industry. Known AS “angels of washington. ” in 1997. When SHE wanted to find a WAY to USE HER creative talents while working from home. After much prayer SHE took a leap of faith and quit HER full time JOB with BIG Brothers and BIG sisters and launched angels of washington. Bringing unique Angel designs to women in the pacific northwest. Selling HER items AT street and craft fairs throughout the northwest. SHE found a following. Since HER first year in business. SHE has gone on to create a total of twenty five NEW designs. ALL of which SHE has personally designed and made and ALL of which have been well received AT artisan shows throughout washington. Oregon and Idaho. In 1999. SHE was approached by the regional director of the local RED cross and was asked to design an Angel PIN using their RED cross logo tack PIN. Honored. SHE created a NEW PIN for them. Which was given to volunteers in washington AS well AS volunteers abroad between 1999 and 2001. In 2002. SHE started HER Christmas ornament line. Which has become equally popular over the past thirteen years. "in september. MY phone starts ringing constantly. MY faithful customers call to reserve the NEW ornament for that year. Knowing that I only make SO many and when they are GONE. . . THEY are GONE. " LOOKING back over the past 17 years. Debra has felt richly blessed with HER small Angel business. For several years SHE has wanted to move HER business in a NEW direction. In 2006. SHE decided to DO a small show AT a local country club. Where a large percentage of HER sales went to the Seattle CHILDREN’S hospital. Again. HER work was well received and over the past Four years SHE has been able to help the country club raise significant funds for this worthy cause. This charitable work planted a seed in HER mind and in 2011 SHE made a decision to move HER Angel business in a totally NEW direction. Creating what is NOW known AS “angels from MY HEART. ” WHY the name CHANGE? DEBRA’S Angel creations have always come from HER passion for angels. SHE feels that each creative idea comes from HER heart and ends with HER hands. HER NEW idea to help charities is Also a NEW passion for HER and what better WAY to Bring HER love of angels and HER desire to help others together. . . . “angels from MY heart” pretty well sums it ALL UP. NOT ALL angels on this WEBSITE have been designated for a specific Charity. This takes time and patience. It is debra’s desire that eventually ALL of HER creations will BE for Charity based organizations. HER goal is that angels from MY heart. Will provide high quality. Uniquely designed Angel jewelry and ornaments that are sold for the sole purpose of raising awareness and funds for charitable organizations. HER goal is to design unique Angel JEWELRY/ORNAMENTS that will BE made exclusively for different charities. Where 30% of after TAX profits will BE given to the Charity. In the meantime. The profits from the angels on this WEBSITE that have NOT been designated for a specific Charity. Will GO into a general charitable savings account and the total profits earned AT the END of each year will BE divided equally among the existing CHARITIES. DEBRA’S hope and desire is that when people purchase an Angel PIN or ornament. They will know that their purchase supports the many areas of a hope giving ministry that many different charities provide. SHE Doesn’t only SEE YOU AS a customer.
