First of all my husband is a Canadian legion member and we were visiting Punta Gorda on Sunday March 24,2019 with our daughter and son in law and our 2 month old grandson and decided that it would be nice to visit this legion. But only to be told by the female bartender inside..."that she couldn't serve us because we were Canadian legion members. Wow!! We were very disappointed and shocked!! We are very supportive at the Avon Park Legion post 69. Never had a problem there. Hopefully this problem will get solved.
