After 2 years of research and saving I found the car that I wanted, the only problem was the model I liked best is no longer in production. I thought no big deal, I would take a used car. I knew what the value of the car was from the beginning. I knew what OTD (out the door) price I would pay and what my car was worth. I thought I had made my self clear when I talked with the salesperson. I don’t know if it is because I am a female or the ecomeny would not allow them any wiggle room, but in the end they tried to finance (my credit is now affected) me for a $17,000 loan for a car that is only worth $13,000. I was asked to look at another newer car instead. I am now back to the start of my search 2 years ago, I have to find the right car for my family with everything that I require.
