Founded in 1965, Stephenson Elementary School provides a variety of educational opportunities for more than 300 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers various academic enrichment programs and extracurricular activities. It also provides instructional services in music, visual and performance arts, technological communication, and physical and special education. Stephenson Elementary School offers the English as a Second Language program. Additionally, the school s after-school program includes classes in drumming, electric guitar and vocal ensembles. It maintains a choir group, musical band and Spanish club. In addition, Stephenson Elementary School operates a parent-teacher association that organizes a range of fundraising and social events.
