Located in Portland, Ore., Peninsula Elementary School provides kindergarten classes and before- and after-school programs. It maintains partnerships with various communities, including Oregon Food Bank and Oregon Symphony. The school operates dance, jump rope and chess clubs. It offers a literacy program that includes literature, group instruction and phonemic awareness. The school also operates a parent-teacher association. It operates a children s center and provides the English as a Second Language program. Additionally, Peninsula School offers several tutoring programs.
