Dr. Joel Fast is a Willamette Valley native who believes strongly in the 'work hard - play hard' philosophy of life. You will find him snowboarding at Mt. Hood in the winter, and competing in triathlons or fund raiser cycling events come summer. Motorcycle road trips, traveling near and far, mountain climbing, scuba diving, and wine tasting are amongst his other passions. His undergraduate studies were completed at Oregon State University where he became a Beaver Believer! After graduating from OHSU School of Dentistry in 2006, he spent several years giving back to the community by serving the underprivileged in rural NE Washington. He also volunteered for humanitarian dental trips to Honduras and Jamaica before returning home to establish himself at Total Health Dental.Joel became interested in dentistry when he was a little leaguer. His coach, a local well-known dentist, served as his mentor and role model. Dr. Fast is committed to his patient's experience; delivering high quality oral health care in a comfortable, caring, and gentle environment. He enjoys working together with his office team to develop beautiful, healthy smiles. "The best thing about my practice is getting to build relationships with a variety of people.
