I first started going to the store because I heard about it from a client and then I went in to check it out for myself everyone there was friendly and everytime I go in there for me they show me where I need to go it feels like they are taking me by the hand and showing me where I need to go for colors beadsand talk to me about different

techniques and aski.g me what kind of project in my working on very friendly store I recommend for a new beginning beader and experience beader you can buy beads by bulk you can get anything you want so ask if you don't ask you won't know

I found some great beads here at good prices. They have a nice selection of the usual stuff, but they also carry old trade beads, silver at great prices and some unusual beads I've never seen anywhere else (and I shop at a LOT of bead stores!)



The best part of this store is the staff, helpful without hovering, very friendly and just plain nice people. There were kids in the store and the staff helped them make their selections with the same amount of patience and helpfulness they showed to the adult shoppers. I will definitely return to this shop next time I'm in Portland.

This place may have a great selection of beads and findings, but the best thing they have is their staff. Very friendly, nice, knowledgeable & helpful. Quick to offer assistance, but didn't hover. I really enjoyed my visit there and will defintely stop again when passing through Portland!

After driving from the vancouver area to find just the right component to my beading project, I was once again treated very rudely by the girls behind the counter. After I asked a question at the counter, one of the girls yelled at the lady that was out on the floor to help me. Thank goodness this lady was very knowlegeable and helpfull. While the shop did not have exactly what I wanted, she was able to help me make some other choices to add to other projects. My opinion is that the two girls behind the counter should go and the one who helped me run the show!!!

"A Bead Source" has a great selection, they always have what I'm looking for and if they don't have it they always offer to order it.

I have visited this store around 8 times within the last couple of years and have found most of the staff quite rude and abbrasive.

I was in this store with my mother and I was at the back of the store looking for beads while my mother was at the front asking one of the sales clerks about something, when the other sales clerk, who was not involved in this conversation prior yelled at my mother. I was in the back and heard this while the owner was in her office much nearer to them with the door open and did not do anything about the situation.

Apparently not good at answering questions by people who do not have full knowledge of things.will not shop there again.

It doesn't get any better than this. This little store has everything as well as the latest trends and unique gifts. Friendly management and helpers are very knowledgable. A mainstay for any serious beader.
