It is a locally run business. Same customers go ther 25-30 yrs.Excellent vacumn repair but, can count on a good week before getting vacumn bag. Expensive bags and ask them to itemize price of each bag on your receipt. I bet same Riccar bags can be found cheaper on Amazon.The owner inherited the business from his Dad.The owner, very high pressured sales attempts and ask personal questions why you can't buy it today. He has a reputation of high sales pitches and pple are fed up with it. There are two ther nice vacumn stores in town I will return for repairs and bags but, not buying another way overpriced vacumn from himHe is actually quite arrogant and rude with his antics. No means no! Spouses want to go home discuss it in their budget. He is yes obnoxious . Well know in community for being pushy sales techniques and needs to knock it off ! It no secret he makes so much money that he can afford to drive a White Porsche SUV see other businesses in close proximity know this as fact. I saw the 95 k SUV out front On fb a gal cleans houses for Parade of Homes. She posted where to go get good vacumn and what kind. Oh boy the comments were numerous saying too expensive. He terrible pushy needs back off. If he is driving a 95 k dollar Porsche SUV he is doing just fine at his little Vacumn Worl. Got to be others that sel, Riccar drive to GR. I will. Oh he always trying get pple to buy the pricey German model Moele somethingHey you need to go sell used cars for Seeyle Ford stop high pressure manipulation and trying to intimidate your customers. Quit asking your customers personal questions all about the vacumn not their lives!

I recently just bought a vacuum at Vac World this week. We originally went in there just to have a look at some of the vacuums there, but walked out having been pressured to buy something. The owner spent over an hour trying to sell us a vacuum, all while making inappropriate comments and using excessive sales techniques. He would not give us time to talk the purchase over alone, he gave us one minute, even after we asked him to please leave us alone for a moment. When we told him we wanted to come back and give ourselves time to think about it, he became upset and said this price was only good for right now. We did purchase the vacuum and when we got home we realized we were overcharged. We thought he gave us a package of bags, however he charged us for them and never put it on the receipt. We may have our vacuum serviced there but would not recomm

Too much sales pressure!, even when I brought a machine in to be cleaned and said I wasn't interested in the new Miele model. These vacuums are very good, but expensive, and should last for many years. I resent the owner(father) 's relentless sales pitch even after I said I was not interested in a new machine at that time and the fact that he wrote down repairs on the vacuum without telling me, and were not needed. fortunately, the old part was in a plastic bag when I picked up the vacuum and was perfectly fine so I had it put back in. It took 10 minutes while I waited, though the owner(son) originally said it'd take hours.

Just bought a Riccar Vacuum from Vac World, and had a great experience doing it. The staff was very helpful & knowledgeable. I called in few weeks after the purchase with a couple questions, and the response was on point and on the spot. Thanks again Vac World. Always nice doing business local.

Extremely good personal service and advice. Will try to fix your machine with spare parts instead of having to order more expensive new ones. Very reliable and nice people.
