Konicek Environmental Consulting LLC is doing consulting from 2017 to Present for their client, a neighboring property to ours. We (my Wife and I) cooperated fully with every request made of us. Konicek tapped into our parking lot with several monitoring wells, board holes on the inside of our building. All with total cooperation form our tenant and ourselves.
We were required obtain further documentation from the DNR to clear our property as a source of the contamination. Konicek "would help" with the process and necessary documentation for a Fee of $1300.00. We did contract with Konicek in Feb 0f 2019. Paid with a Check at that time. Work was done and documentation was granted by the DNR. We were satisfied with a job well done.
Then in Oct 2019, nine months after our check had cleared our bank, out of the blue we receive a Notice of intention to file claim for lien if $1,300.00 is not remitted.

After submitting a bank statement to Konicek, a text to my wife from Konicek retreated with the financial attack. I have not received any word of apology. We will continue to let Konicek drill holes on our property, monitor wells drilled and not impede there work. However a Lien Waiver will be requested should I do business with Konicek and any work by others contracted for our properties . Be Smarter than I and spare yourself the ansigity.
