HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. My husband and I had a flight out of Long Island MacArthur Airport at 4 a.m. The shuttle service at the hotel did not begin until 7 a.m. so they informed us they would call a taxi. When we arrived downstairs with our items the taxi driver didn't even get out of the car. Then he proceeded to drive fast with both windows in the front down and it was cold. I thought...I'm not going to complain because it will be a quick trip. Once we arrived at the airport the driver said it was $38. I pulled out my credit card to pay and he told me they didn't accept cash. REALLY? He then called his supervisor at this place and he began arguing with me on the phone! He told me that his card machine was broken...well I had a place to catch and told him he could take my number and run my card for the $38 once it was fixed. Low and behold the next day I have a charge of $49.28 on my card. Do yourself a favor and call Uber. I would NEVER recommend this company!

I Used Islandwide for many months of transportation, Only Cause they we're cheap! Cars Smell Horrible, Drivers are maniacs on the rd!, And None the less cars reak of drugs with men that are discusting. Ive been in local area and seen permiscuous things going on in the islandwide office aswell.

DO NOT USE. One of their drivers was doing 50 mph in the Walmart parking lot and totaled my car as it was being pulled into the service bay. Do not use them or let anyone you love get in a cab with them. They are unsafe. Thank goodness he hit my car and not a mom walking with kids.

I got in to an Islandwide Taxi to go home and no sooner were we out of the LIRR parking lot when SCPD pulled us over, searched the driver, found he had no insurance. He did, however, have a quantity of crack cocaine and as well as a glass pipe. He was arrested, and I was forced to walk back to the station and flag another cab.
