My daughter has been attending this preschool for the past two years. My family as well as my daughter absolutly adore this place. We looked at so many preschools in the port charlotte area and this one was the best in our eyes. First off, they're a gold seal accredited school! Not many schools in port charlotte are. That was really important to us. Also, the staff is so caring and informative! I love the notes home, the parent communication log and my face to face interactions with the teachers. I highly recommend this facility!

My daughter attended here from 18 months until she entered kindergarten! She absolutely loved going here! She even wanted to come on the weekends! Her teachers were amazing and she learned so much! They always kept me posted with newsletters, communication logs and conferences! I highly recommend academy for early learning!

The Academy for Early Learning has an awesome program! They provide a planned curriculum that is developmentally appropriate & individualized for the children and assessments, progress reports, portfolios and newsletters for the parents. Children learn through hands on play and structured activities in learning centers as they work independently and with teacher direction.

This quaint, nationally accredited program is a find! The teachers are competent and passionate. There are very few NAEYC accredited centers in the country, more less the area. To have a NAEYC accredited program this close is a gift. The building is misleading, it is a home that has been converted into a school. There are bright and spacious classrooms inside and a super mulched playground. The class sizes are small. It is the best of both worlds. The structure and excellence of a world class program in the intimate small environment that is family centered.

This program is one of the only nationally accredited programs in the Port Charlottte area. A NAEYC accredited program is the only program I trust. It is the gold seal of excellence according to Parenting Magazine and all the sources I've checked. It's earned the Florida Gold Seal of Excellence rating as well. The school is in a residential area and is so quaint. But no mistaken, this is a learning center with a powerful accelerated school readiness curriculum based on the latest research and findings on how children learn. The children are so busy and happy. They know this school is set up just for them. There are two playgrounds that are great, mulched with large play structures and huge sandboxes. The children plant their own garden and tend to it regularly. They offered dance and gymnastics over the summer; my daughter loves it. The staff is so warm, knowledgable and loving. You can tell they enjoy thier job and love being with the kids. This school is a real hidden treasure. Now it is called Academy for Early Learning and is located between Midway and West Tarpon. Go check it out! You will be glad you did!
