Established in 1926, Shearouse Lumber Co. is a sawmill and lumber yard. The company manufactures a variety of lumber products, such as marine/house pilings, utility/barn poles, fence posts, bridge timbers and structural support beams, including others. It produces southern yellow pine, green oak and new heart pine. The company's facility consists of dry kilns, timbersizer, planer mill, sawmill, pole and pilings mill, as well as a CCA Osmose treating plant. In addition to lumber and lumber supplies, Shearouse Lumber Co. manufactures flooring and V- Groove paneling. Located in Pooler, Ga., it is also an Osmose authorized producer.
