EXTREMELY RUDE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.



I got a scooter from a private party, who had originally purchased it from this shop about 1-2 months before. This scooter is only worth $200-300, so not a big deal. To make a long story short, this person owed me money so they signed over the scooter to me, transferred as a gift. We signed a bill of sale and he signed the title over to me.



The private party never got the scooter changed into their name from the title that was issued from the Scooter Shop.… so they had the original title with the name Ricardo Bearzotti on it (guy from the Bike and Scooter Shop) ... which was signed into the other owners name, who I acquired it from.



This person put my name in the wrong place on the title (under dealer transfer section) and since I've always purchased cars from dealerships, never private parties I didn't think twice. I figured all I needed was the title with transfer to my name.



I went and spoke with the Tag Office to transfer it into my name and they told me since it was never transfer to the other guy ... this was a tough situation. The only way to fix it was there were only 2 possibilities:



#1 - Transfer it from Scooter Shop to other guys name with a new title ... then transfer from that guy to myself. (which is impossible because that guy is gone)



#2 - Have the Scooter shop request a duplicate title and transfer it to my name since its still in their name.



Since option #2 was the only possibility, I went to the Bike & Scooter Shop and asked to speak with Ricardo …. with all the documentation to ask them to help. In my possession I have all the documentation to show this is a legitimate sale. These are the documents that I was given by the previous owner.



- Original Title Signed over to me (albeit in the wrong place)



- Original Bill of Sale from Bike & Scooter to the previous owner ....



- Original Bill of sale between previous owner transferring to myself.



- Florida Vehicle Registration in the name of previous owner.



I have no way of contacting the previous owner ... so my only way to get this resolved was for the Bike & Scooter Shop to help me. They told me it wasn't their problem. I explained the scooter was still in their name and all I was trying to do is change it into my name. In fact for legal reasons, I would assume they would want it out of their name. I was just asking for help with this situation.



They told me the only way they'd help is if I'd pay them $200 per hour to accompany to me to the DMV... and we all know that could be hours. (keep in mind, the Scooter is worth about $200-$300. I asked him if he could just go online and request a duplicate title (which I'd of course pay for) ... once received I would rip up this original title in front of him and he could sign the new one over to my name directly. That way this could be solved easily. The scooter would be out of their name and into mine …. at this point The owner of the shop snatched the Title from my hand, went and made a photocopy of it (I guess for proof it was resold again) and told me he wouldn’t help me and told me to leave his shop.



I understand they don’t HAVE to help me… but the unprofessionalism and overly rude behavior really shocked me. I was not expecting this type of treatment when I was simply trying to find a solution to an inconvenience. They were the only way to get this situation resolved. In fact, this scooter needed a couple of things fixed, which I could have gotten fixed through them.

I go to the shop for oil changes. I never need an appointment and they take care of me right away.

I bought a used bike from them love the bike had a few minor issues with it and they took care of them and saw the issues through to the end to make sure I was a happy customer thanks again

Terrible. They never give you warranty of services and/or parts. They charge you different price for same service in just 3 month difference, and they charge you for service that they never did. I need fix my start only, and they said i need new carbured and new back brakes, i paid $220, and my scooter is over accelerated and my back brakes was never changed, 4 days later i asked to fix the service they charged me and they said they can't because i don't have the receive, even if they never give you the receive with detailed service

I very rarely if at all leave reviews. I felt compelled to do so because this place is awesome. Even though they usually dont pick up scooters on sat, Marcio picked me up brought my scooter to his shop, and had it fixed fast. It was exactly what he said it was, and exactly what he said it would cost. They treat like family here. They are reliable, friendly, honest, and affordable. I love these guys!
