I Agree!! I love Melo's!!

I have to agree with the guy below me!! I take my kids there every sunday and every time I walk through the door I am welcomed with a friendly familiar face. The atmosphere and staff just scream a strong sense of family and community, it's like that old cheers show song, "where everybody knows your name." Im there almost everyday now since they added the childrens menu, everytime i ask the kids what they want, they say pizza!! Just cant get enough!! Dont ever change!!

So Family Friendly!!

I love being able to bring my family to Melo's.. It started off as a family tradition 30 years ago when my dad took me there for the first time, now im glad I get to share the tradition with my children who absolutely LOVE going there. The pizza is amazing and the service is great. Want a great place to take the family and feel like family? Then go to Melo's..

I've been going to Melo's for over thrity years and I have to say that it is one of the best pizza/pasta places in the bay area. They really do a great New York pizza the "old school" way where they toss the dough in the air with nice thin crust. I really love the pastas too because they do them one at a time and all the sauces are done fresh. My mother does't make pasta this good. Anyway I always have a great experience there and would recommend this place highly.

Good pizza

The pizza here is delicious. When I need a quick meal, I get the manager's special, which is a pizza and soda for a great price.

Tight with the pasta sauce

Had lunch June 17. My date ordered ordered a pasta dish with cream sauce. There was not enough sauce to coat the noodles. The waiter never came back to check on us. I eventually waived him down and asked if he could provide a little more sauce. While the waiter agreed there was little sauce, he said it was the restaurant's policy to charge for any extra sauce. My mouth dropped in astonishment. We asked for a box so my date could take it home and apply her own sauce. She told me she never wanted to eat at this restaurant again.

i was surprised

This is right across the street from that other popular pizza called Melos. I have to say this one has the sauce, crust and cheese nailed. Pizza is great. The sandwiches are also really tastly.

Decent Pie

East coast transplant for 17 years now and a great pizza is difficult to find out here, more so in the Pleasant Hill. Any ways Melos has a decent Pizza. The sauce though is just bland so if you pile up on the toppings then you probably would not notice.
