Mitchell Sens helped us every step of the way with our case, that went on for years. Resulting in winning! I am glad to have him on our side. I simply cannot thank him enough!! Hands down, best attorney around.

My bank account was garnished. My husband knew a bankruptcy attorney whose car he once worked on. Mr. Sens knew that money was tight and showed us a cheaper way to fix it than bankruptcy. He said the other attorney would probably lie to keep my money garnished. He explained how to catch their attorney in the lies. Sure enough their attorney lied exactly where Mr. Sens thought he would. With Mr. Sens help we caught their attorney lying, showed proof, and embarrassed him to the point where he was shaking. Like visibly shaking. And we got every penny back that was garnished. Never bothered me again and it cost us very little to win. Now I am not so afraid of getting sued.

Fantastic attorney unlike any other! Mr. Mitchel Sens is incredibly knowledgeable in his field, caring, honest and very direct. He will not tell you 'what you want to hear and he will not beat around the bush. He says it like it is and he is an amazing attorney for that. Sometimes the truth hurts, but he knows the laws, and he also knows and explains 'all of your options' in detail so that you can do what needs to be done by yourself, however, he will assist you if requested. His consult was invaluable and by far the best thing that we ever did. Words cannot express our deepest graditude for everything that he helped us and our business with. A bad economy and then having an accident several years ago, our finances got turned up side down. I thought we were going to eventually lose everything that we had worked so hard for. Don’t know how he’ll be since he started 2012 with a new office and finally has a secretary, but I’ve always reached him when I called.



Even if it means he returns calls while driving or from court. The best was how he was when I got sued and couldn’t afford his hourly fee, because a family matter took priority. Sens just charged me to explain how to do some things myself. Other attorneys try to make everything seem complex, to make us need them. But Sens simplified some things for me. It took hours, but I got it. Sens wrote papers to weaken the other attorney, and showed me how to handle it. On my own I got the suing attorney to back off. He settled fast when I faxed those papers. I knew what to say and how to act. Never filed bankruptcy. Instead I focused my money on my family matter, and on that settlement. Sens was all business, but fair. Next best thing is that Sens didn’t pretend. When he didn’t know answers I watched while he looked it up and printed it out for me. I saw the answers with my own eyes. I don’t trust what a stranger speaks, and I like that Sens didn’t force me to trust him."

Hiring Mitchells Sens was truly the best business decision I've ever made. He was very patient with educating me on my situation, explaining all the options and recommending the best option to take.



He's worked day and night to help me find solutions to my problem and he's relentless in studying the competition and picking apart their strategy.



I could go on and on about my experiences and success with Mitchell Sens, but I'll spare you the details and sum it all up in three very simple words, on what contracting Mitchell Sens provides you - PEACE OF MIND.

2009 was a very bad year for a lot of people and I was not immune. 2010 continued a trend that began to weaken my spirit. I was lost, scarred of losing everything I had left. In my mind bankruptcy seemed like my only option not truly knowing what it even meant or how it would fix or change my current financial state. I discovered a coworker of mine was experiencing similar hardship and I began speaking with him about his plans. This is when I first heard of Mitchell Sens. I have been dealing with him ever since. He explained the laws and how I would be able to come out of all of this without filing for bankruptcy. His knowledge of the system and the laws is very impressive. Everything he said would or could happen did. There were never any surprises. Who knows where I would be right now without his legal guidance. I do know with it, I am in a better, safer place because of him.

Most bankruptcy attorneys are like Bernie Madoff. Even if your smart, you might thank someone who just burned you, and even recommend him to family. Don't trust recommendations. Test the attorney. When you call any recommended bankruptcy attorney, tell them someone garnished your bank account or paycheck. See if they lie, say bankruptcy is the ONLY option, and rush you to come in. I called an attorney in Miami recommended by everyone. He not only said that bankruptcy was my only option, but pushed for chapter 13 - the more expensive chapter. I believed him, paid a retainer, and started the process. Someone said to call Mitchell Sens - who told me about a law which protects some from garnishment - without needing bankruptcy. Who to believe? Sens showed me the statute on the government's website. He prepared a form and got my bank account released. Didn't even have to go to court. That was 4 years ago. I never had to file bankruptcy. For someone in my shoes, there were laws protecting everything - not just my bank account. Sens wrote a letter for me to send the attorney with a judgment against me. They never bothered me again. Remember that bankruptcy attorneys only make money if you think you have no other option. Don't get rushed into bankruptcy and tricked into thinking you have no options. When I set an appointment, he said bring my husband or someone to take notes - so I could focus on listening. Didn't avoid questions, or just assure that he would take care of it. When I asked, he answered. If I wanted it all, he beat me with an encyclopedia. If I wanted dumbed down, he did that. Explained everything, and offered copies of the law to take home. Didn't ask me trust what I couldn't read. What was wild is I came in ready to file bankruptcy since my other attornet scared me. Mitchell explained what could go wrong if I filed bankruptcy and what could go wrong if I didn't. He gave advice, but with enough info for me to make an informed choice. He admitted wanting to make money from bankruptcy, but didn't sugarcoat it to make that happen. And when I say no sugar, it also means interrupted me when I complained that my situation wasn't my fault. Called it irrelevant to the judge, and just focused on the law and my choices. When I decided to settle with creditors, he explained how to get in a strong position so the attorney who had both a judgement and a settlement agreement could not garnish my wages, and would probably settle for less. Overall, my husband said it was a good thing when he interrupted my venting, and I realized that he was just keeping me on track.

I first contacted Mitchell Sens through the yellow pages. I had called a number of other attorneys regarding possibly filing bankruptcy. He was the only one who did not automatically tell me that bankruptcy was for me. In fact he told me that based on what I told him on the phone, that bankruptcy was not for me. The other attorneys all wanted me to make an appointment right away and bring a check to get started into bankruptcy. I did make an appointment with Mitchell and consulted with him regarding my financial situation and I feel he gave me excellent advice. In my opinion I will say he is very knowledgeable, very conservative, confidant, and was very fair in what he charged me.

Uncaring and Contentious Lawyer.... The other reviews were bound to have been written by the lawyer himself, or one of his employees. I can not say as much of a disappointment to me as he was. He treats people like cattle in a slaughterhouse. At any time, you can not review your case with the lawyer for suggestions before you are taken through the testing line. I assume they want to make sure you are worth it. Sens is very uncaring. I approached him about my case, wanting to review some alternatives. He got angry with me and marched me out of the building. Later, I asked about finding another Laywer, because he wouldn't review my case with me, so I could understand it better. That just angered him all that much more. In turn, he has caused me a lot of heartache and mental anguish. I have since found another Lawyer I am thrilled with (which would have charged me a lot less) and has spent time with me before anything was done. Sens has even caused me more finanical hardship ontop of what I was already going though. He charged me $2400.00, and isnt even handling my case. Please, review some other Lawyers before you even think about this Lawyer. As far as my personal feelings, he is abusing a service that is originally made to help people in times of need.

Mitchell Sens is a great lawyer! He takes the time to explain the laws so that you know and understand your rights. We were refered to him by a friend and are extremely grateful. My husbands wages were about to be garnished at 25% per pay and we met with Mitchell and with his assistance we submitted all the paperwork possible to prove that my husband was the "Head of Family". We were victorious and we owe it all to Mitchell Sens!

Other lawyers told me I was screwed, but still wanted to charge a consultation fee just to listen to my case.
