Founded in 1986, Hope's Door offers intervention and prevention services to individuals and families, as well as operates various educational programs. It is a full-service shelter and counseling center that provides direct intervention and prevention services to families affected by domestic abuse. Since its inception, Hope's Door has provided services to more than 3,500 women and children. The center conducts group and individual counseling sessions, and also offers a men s counseling program. It additionally offers community education through speaking engagements, panel discussions, day and evening workshops, community events, newsletters, print articles, and media appearances. Hope's Door has several locations in Plano, Texas.
