Provided by YPmobileI have been using exotic aquatics for the past ten years and have always been very happy with the product and service. Ramin and his staff are very knowledgeable and helpful and have some of the best exotic fish and coral I have seen. I would highly recommend them to everyone!

Provided by YP.comI have been shopping at exotic aquatics since they first opened. I started with a freshwater tank and just recently bought a 210 gallon saltwater which they maintain for me. The store is always very clean and the fish and coral are always healthy. Ramin and his staff have always been a lot of help answering my questions. Their service staff is prompt and professional.

Provided by YP.comAvoid! Over priced fish and coral, saying you pay more for quality when most of the fish have ich or are in OK condition. Many of the employee claim to know what they are doing but have not only sold me fish i shouldn't have bought but have seen happen to other customers as well! An older gentleman Nathan and a young girl (Gabby i think) are the ones to avoid!! Have no problem saying something as fact which with further research proves completely wrong! The old manager Chris was extremely helpful and knowledgeable but unfortunately isn't there anymore! Only talk to a wonderful kid named Preston, gives you spot on info and really know the hobby well! I'm writing this review because i had an encounter with the owner Ramin and was extremely stand offish and rude! He showed no interest in my business or my concerns! Avoid Avoid Avoid but if you do go only ask for Preston...PERIOD!

Provided by YPmobileI was sold the wrong animal and offered nothing. I ordered African dwarf frogs and was sold African clawed frogs instead. They sold me many fish and said they would live fine with the frogs. The clawed frogs ate ALL OF OUR FISH. This was very upsetting and very expensive. I would not recommend buying any animals whatsoever.

Provided by YP.comI have been shopping at Exotic Aquatics since I started my aquarium 6 years ago. The staff members are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The store is also very clean and the fish are healthy. If you have a saltwater aquarium, no need to check this place out. They have a huge selection of fish and coral. Although I don't own a freshwater aquarium, it seems that they have quite a nice selection of freshwater fish as well. The show tank you see when you walk through the door has a huge tree trunk and discus in it. (Pretty cool for a freshwater tank). Anyway, if you are looking for honest advise, great selection and competitive prices, look no further.

Provided by YP.comBuyer beware! I recently bought a Longhorn Cowfish from this store and now I've got a tank full of ICH. And despite our best efforts and those of my monthly fish service he died a slow sad death. (Still fighting ICH to try to save my remaining fish that were healthy prior to the Cowfish)
The other fish I bought from them (for my reef tank, also healthy, serviced monthly by professionals) died within 3 days and they would not even give me store credit, I would have settled for even half, but nothing. They were condescending and said my salinity was too low. I tested it, it's not, it's fine.. When I purchased the fish the manager said if they died, they would work with us, not the case. The rep said the owner would take it out of his check. Really poorly run place. You can't trust these guys to shoot you straight. BEWARE. NEVER again will I purchase anything from this store and I warn others of the same. No wonder there is always a help wanted sign on the door. So very dissappointed.

Provided by YP.comWow, just W.O.W I've been to a LOT of fish stores, and I have to say this was one of the best ones I've ever been to, if not THE best. The fish were kept in CRYSTAL CLEAR water with plenty of room to swim around. They have a built in tank in the wall by the tanks for sale, and several other smaller tanks with fish in them. It's obvious by the amount of maintained show tanks that the staff really enjoy taking care of fish! While the coral was fairly pricy, it was very pretty. The plants were gorgeous too!
Even if you don't buy any fish, Exotic Aquatics is a place that I could spend hours in. It's really like a huge aquarium!
The only complaint I'd have is that when you initially walk in, things seem a little cluttered. The counter has a lot of stuff behind it, and the fish supplies are on these ugly white shelves. But then again, It isn't a big chain, so maybe they can't really afford super nice shelves.
Very helpful staff that really wanted my best interest. I went and asked about pure ammonia for fishless cycling, and the guy told me: "We sell it, but it's a waste of money, just use fish food, it's better for the PH anyway." What honesty!
4 stars for the pricy coral, and clutter, but all in all, a MUST go!

Provided by YP.comReally great store, great selection of fish, fresh and saltwater. They always have the best plants and usually good deals like buy 2 get 1 free, all fish are healthy and great. Really enjoy the friendly knowledgeable staff, always quick to help me!

Provided by YP.comThey have large quantities of cheap easy to take care of fish and corals. Not many unique items. Turn over of store staff makes getting consistent help hard and they are not service oriented to larger reefers.
