Frank T. Wheeler Elementary School is a kindergarten through grade five institution with an enrollment of more than 330 students annually. Its staff includes over 25 certified teachers, a school nurse, psychologist, social worker and nearly 20 noncertified administrative members. Frank T. Wheeler Elementary School organizes several cocurricular activities, such as book fairs, Christmas parties, bingo and game nights, fall festivals and TV turnoff weeks. In addition to the regular subjects, the school conducts special classes in music, art and special education, as well as a reading recovery program. Frank T. Wheeler Elementary School is a part of Plainville Community Schools and is located in Plainville, Conn.
