Martha, with the help of her husband Jim Couture a builder, set up shop in 1980 originally known as "The Silver Sun". What began as a small enterprise in her basement grew into a thriving business. With the help of Martha's daughters Cynthia and Diane the business grew and flourished into what is well known in the area as "Artisan's Marketplace".
