Great restaurant! I am lucky to live and work nearby and we go regularly for their diablo burritos and shrimp tacos! Yummy! Very friendly staff and great prices. They do catering for parties of 10-600 people too! Awesome family-owned restaurant in Plainfield, IL!

I took my family to Tortilla Flatz Mexican Grill for dinner on Saturday. We were greeted with a big smile and given menu's right away. We decided to stay and have dinner, we were asked if we wanted to sit in the patio or inside, it was a nice sunny day, so we sat outside. Right away our drink order was taken along with our kids meals, we loved the fact that the kids meals came out right away. The server recommended the House Special which was delicious, and the salsa and gucamole was out of this world. All and all we loved every minute of dinning experience. The owners came out to check on us, they asked about our dinning experience and if there was anything else that they could do to make it a better dinning experience. My husband laughed and said yes, please put up a White Sox Banner! We all had a great laugh since the owners are Cubs Fan! It's great to see a "real family owed business", they made us feel comfortable and we never felt rushed even though it was almost closing time. Plainfield needed a restaurant that they could call home away from home.

Love this place. My family and I frequent it often since they have opened their doors. The owners Christina and Horacio show great hospitality and the food....well let's just say it's the best chicken we have ever had. Regardless if it's a burrito, taco or quesadilla, you can guarantee freshness and a lot of taste. Their salsa and chips are always fresh and the salsa has a great taste.



Glad to see they have hired some waitstaff. We had a bubbly girl who was very sweet and quick with everything.

I went in to buy lunch for my staff today and to meet the owners; I have to say I am impressed all the way around.

The owners are very nice people and the food was delicious! The chicken is tender and seasoned just right, guacamole is good as well.

Great job Christina...it is nice to see such harworking community people. Good luck, I wish you continued success!

I normally don't write reviews but I feel obligated to write this one. Had a taco meal and it was pretty bad. Its pretty hard to mess up Mexican food if you ask me but this place managed to acheive that pretty well. Just hoping I don't get sick from it...



More importantly though, the service was God aweful. Server (who seemed like she might've even been a manager) was the opposite of friendly. Just seemed pissed off at the world but taking it out on us.



You'll have a better meal and better service at Taco Bell... and I don't even like fast food.
