I just had to call this clinic today to check on the vaccination status of a dog that had bitten me, and the young woman who answered the phone was VERY nice, and more importantly assured me that the dog's rabies vaccine is good for another 6 months!

Dr. Raymond is the best vet in town. The only reason I gave 3 stars for professionalism is because a few of his female office staff are extremely rude and will talk down to you and they are NOT helpful. However, there were a few, Gabby was one and I've forgotten the other two gals names, that were so nice and helpful, they were great! Dr. Raymond needs to take a look at the conduct of (I believe her name is Laura, the office manager), she was so rude, spoke in a very gruff way, didn't even make eye contact, and when I called back after getting home to ask a few questions that would have been in the file she acted like I was asking her to go over and above what should be part of her job - RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!! I'd fire her in a hot second if she were my employee. In fact, I was an accountant most of my life and I could probably do a better job than she does AND WITH A SMILE! Thanks Dr. Raymond, you helped me with my dog when he was alive and was very happy with your service - that's why I brought my cat into you. I will always go to your office for help, but just note, I will NOT put up with Ms. Laura or the other rude employee's attitudes again! I don't know why you keep them, they make you look bad and you're definitely NOT!).

DrMary Horrible&unethical. was coaxing cat out carrier,she said let me.assuming she would gently remove as he was coming out his self. However she abruptly upended the entire carrier & unceremoniously dumped her right on head where injured. I stood there flabbergasted she grabbed by scruff of neck to weigh. I regained my voice from the shock of it all & said you are grabbing injury. Which was opposite side from her, and she had not even seen. Finally as she lifted her back to table she saw wound and proclaimed this cat is in horrible pain and needs to be sedated for me to work on. While I signed papers for my cat. She joked& expressed anal glands & vaccination to another patrons pet,could easily hear all she said in next room. came back & told me she wouldn't see my cat as she needed 15 min more time and they were closing. she was no longer concerned of terrible pain gave nothing,medicine for the wound NOTHING.i should turn her into the board, she's VERY lucky I didn't. VERY LUCKY

I tried to personally speak to Dr. Clark about my experience with both her and with Dr. Raymond , however, rude and very unprofessional office manger would not have it.
She was more concerned about being combative and argumentative with me.
Firstly, Dr. Clark was the most pleasant and caring Veterinary I have ever met.
She was extremely thorough and informative.
Went back another time Dr. Clark was not there, so I seen Dr. Raymond unfortunately he was not as thorough and missed diagnosed my cats injuries. My kitty passed away :((
I only wanted to mention this information in a kind professional manner to improve this clinics services.

I recently had an appointment for my dogs at this clinic when I parked my car an animal control officer was helping a man who told him he had found this dog and asked if he could check for a chip when a woman stomped out of the vet office demanding to know what he was doing he asked her to hold on when she screamed that he was being rude. She was the rude one I told her that he was not rude then she started screaming at me. I followed her into the vet office because I had an appointment and she screamed she was going to call the police because I was following her I told her she was crazy and wanted to know the owners name and she said she was in charge. I hope not. Terrible woman mean woman.

Dr Raymond is an amazing veterinarian. He performed a surgery that saved my cats life, my cat is 15 and because of Dr raymond he got a little bit more life to live. But unfortunately the staff is terrible. One old lady in particular is very argumentative for no reason and extremely rude. Also, because my cats surgery failed after 6 months we took him to the hospital. It would have cost $3500 to do the surgery and we could not afford it, we had to put my precious cat that I've had since I was 5 down. I feel in my heart it was because dr raymond's staff refused to call him and tell him what happend. If they had, I believe my cat would be in surgery tomorrow and home that same night cuddling with me and my husband for a while longer. I would have paid every cent I had to help my cat but unfortunately it wasn't enough.

Dr. Raymond and his staff have treated our Max for 3 years and he is very happy and healthy. I can't say enough good about this clinic.

We live in Swansbodo I've been going to the vet there for 7+ years for everything spade shot heartworm meds everything infected foxtails spent a lot of money there and one day my dog came home with a really bad limp he'd been wandering through the woods behind our house I felt his foot and I thought it was broken I called our Vet she told me what to do to test and yes she thought it was broken too but she said she didn't have time right then she was on her way to go shopping ;( to see him so could I come tomorrow. Tomorrow came and she said well I don't have an appointment this morning can you come tomorrow around 4pm I call Dr. Raymond's office and he took us in right away as soon as I could come down the hill from mosquito NO problem I say they're the BEST.yep he had a broken foot and dr. Cast it for my poor dog he was in pain. all 3 of my dogs really like them there.they are kind and smart and understanding and cheaper, then my other vet I like dr. Raymond I'd recommend him to anyone !

THE BEST VET AROUND. I have been taking my pets in to Dr Raymond for over five years. He takes time with my animals and explains to me what he is doing, and what further treatment they might require. He is very good at explaining how I am to give them the best after care at home. The prices are very reasonable. I took one of my dogs to a local veterinarian and he wanted to charge me an incredible amount of money for a procedure, so I decided to check out Dr Raymond and the clinic. Wow! What a difference. I am very pleased at the level of care and expertise provided at the Placerville Wellness Clinic.

I went to get my little puppy some help. He was vomiting and had diarrhea. Doctor spent very little time with examination. Left the room and came back with two anti vomiting shots and meds barely explaining anything and then sent us out the door for $100. Useless, had to go to a trusted vet office and my puppy was diagnosed with parvo. Would not recommend to anyone if they want a real diagnosis, and help with their animal.

Dr. Raymond was great with my dog, and did a wonderful surgery on his shoulder. I am so glad that he is here and I like the night hours. Thank you!!
