I do not recommend this motel. It is infested with what appears to be ticks. We have counted four ticks that we have found and have collected. When we checked in we were taken to see the room before we paid. At first glance it appeared old and outdated but OK. As the night went on we discovered holes had been punched in the walls. There were knife marks in the walls. The bathroom sink was not attached to the wall and had mold underneath it. The door bolt lock did not go into the wall hut just passed the door jam and molding and could easily be pushed open even when locked. The beds were very lumpy and hard and squeeked. The bathroom door did not stay closed. Housekeeping had not cleaned the room before we were given the key and had to come in and clean the bathroom after we checked in. She spent about three minutes in the bathroom and sprayed some smelly stuff and said it was cleaned. The bathtub was dirty and the toilet was not cleaned. The room had not been vacuumed. Later as the night went on we found bugs crawling on the beds that looked like ticks. We are going to complain now and demand a refund. We were not able to sleep or rest at all. The entire experience has been very upsetting and stressful.
