Microplex, established in 1987, is an independent manufacturer of standard and custom thick film products for industrial, commercial and military applications. Its primary products include thick film multi-layer, hybrid substrates and assemblies for medical, communications, telecommunications, sensor, automotive, aerospace, semiconductor and fiber optic industries. Microplex supplies analog and digital products from DC to microwave. Microplex design engineers work from customer supplied schematics and physical dimensions or can provide the design services necessary to generate prints from sketches. Microplex administration, engineering and manufacturing facility is in Placentia, Calif. The company has a class 30,000 square foot clean room for printing and laminar flow hoods for more stringent requirements, furnaces, environmental test chambers and CAD design systems.
