I used to live in Bellevue until I recently moved, so I've been there several times, enough for them to know me by name and know my hair as well as their own. I made an appointment yesterday (August 25, 2010) to get my hair permed. They asked my name told me 4pm that same day, I agreed. Now every other hair salon I've been to has asked me on the phone what have I done to my hair recently so they wont risk damaging it. they did not, I didn't think anything of it though. I arrived at 3:55, told the woman my name and said my appointment was scheduled for 4pm. She quickly said no, that is was for four thirty. I told her she was mistaken because I had even writtenit down. I told her it wasen't a big deal, and that I'd wait. After she finished her only haircut before mine, she called me over and asked what I had on my hair and if I had dyed it recently. I told her the last time I had it highlighted was atleast six months ago. And that I had used sun in and lemon juice in the past. With the last time being two months ago. She then proceeded to tell me that I couldn't get the perm becuse it would decinigrate my hair because of the sun in. Ok. I then told her instead of wasting my time, she should have asked me if I had anything done to my hair OVER THE PHONE BEFORE I WASTED MY ENTIRE AFTERNOON. She then asked if I wanted a hair cut. I told her no, and that why in the hell would I pay them for a medicore hair cut after wasting not only my time but also my gas. I told her she'd never see me again and that I'd be telling everyone about this. If she would have just been professional and asked those questions over the phone, and then told me, it wouldn't have been a problem, but now, it is.
