I don't think I would every get my tires from Al's Motor Works as specialty tire garage shops are probably much cheaper than what Al would charge. My experiences with him, however, have been very positive. I got my Nissan inspected with him and he was very fair. Foreign parts are obviously more expensive but when all was said and done he charged me very fairly for the labor. My experience is that Al is very honest and gets to your vehicle quickly, especially if you make an appointment.

We've been taking our family cars to Al for over 15 years. He's a great mechanic and more importantly, honest. We were lucky to have a friend recommend Al to us after we had several ripoff experiences at other places in Pittsburgh.
