HerbThyme Farms operates more than 500 acres of conventional farmland and over 100 acres for growing organic herbs certified by the Department of Agriculture. It is one of largest cultivator, shipper and marketer of conventional and certified organic fresh culinary herbs in the United States. HerbThyme utilizes various growing and packaging technologies to produce the fresh herbs and maintains a 50,000-square-foot automated packing facility. In operation for more than 20 years, it is headquartered in Compton, Calif. The farms produce a variety of herbs, including baby dill, bay leaves, chives, marjoram, mint, rosemary, savory and thyme.
