Go elsewhere! We ordered items in mid September 2016 and were told they would be mailed directly to us in 2-3 weeks. Now almost 3 months later we still have not received them. The staff is ignorant and awful to work with. They will not cancel or refund my order. Save yourself a headache and spend your hard earned money somewhere else!!

I had a wonderful experience with S & H Hardware. They helped me with every aspect of my recent project. From choosing cabinets to handles, faucet etc. They truly made my renovation easy. I would recommend them to my family and friends.

BEWARE!!!!!!!! Before you buy something and PAY, you have to feel sure 100% because ALL FINAL SALES NOT RETURN.You can find everything in that store, but the people and the prices are the worst you have to pay 4 time more.

I was looking for replacement furniture hardware that I've been everywhere but was always turned away, being told to get new furniture, the hardware is too old.



Yes, the atmosphere is sixties-seventies but the sales people were amazingly polite and helpful. When I was there I saw why there are negative review, some of the people coming into this store are simply arrowgant and selflessly impolite. These guys don't take abuse, and I don't blame them.



I was educated, provided with solutions to my hardware dilemna and placed my order. As for pricing, again, I don't understand the reviews here. These guys were not expensive, unless you comparing the product they sell to Home Depot or Lowes and these guys don't carry that quality of hardware.



In conclusion, these guys are the best. I Highly recommend them.

I was in the S&H Hardware in Huntingdon Valley. I want to say that I had a great experience compared to other stores like this. As soon as I came in the store a staff member was there to attend to me. He was so helpful to me and helped me pick colors and combinations. He was so patient and helpful because I am not knowledgeable regarding these types of hardware purchases. Vanities and faucets and such. Anyway all I really want to say is that I was treated very fair. My product came in on time and I was pleased with everything. You guys have a customer for life. BTW my contractor wanted to know where I purchased from because he said he has never seen such nice quality of product.

I have been going to that store for a long time, yesterday i went in and tried to get some help and the stuff, a young africam american new staff was very rude and fresh to me to the point where the next customer raised his eye blow and told him to finish helping me and he was also an african american.I will never go there again!

Only go to this store if u want to be lied too and ripped off. This store has the worse customer service ever!! They me a liar and they say one thing when you come in and then when their done its another story with the balance. Worse place ever!!!!!

AWEFUL, HOSTILE BULLIES!

I have never been treated with such disrespect, have never been intimidated and bullied like I have been in this store in my life. The hardware manager, Jim, almost hit me, a 5ft woman, for expecting him to resolve an issue of 4 missing part on a $960. order. Their turn around time is horrible. Items I took there for repair was returned after 6 months, and orders took 3 months to deliver. I ordered the same item online and got it in 3 days for a better price. I a firm proponent of supporting small businesses, this one is NOT one of them. This one employee is a dangerous man and is unsafe to be around customers and management is spineless, they know of these issues and they do not do anything about it. When a fish rots it starts at head. Be wise take your business somewhere else.

BUYER BEWARE...I bought a $300. mailbox from them and wanted it installed. At the time of purchase I was quoted $94. When it came time to installation and I set up a date The new price was for $175. When I reminded them of their quote they denied ever saying it was $94. I could have gotten it on line for 20% less but I wanted the installation. All they had to do was put 2 screws in a stone wall. They called me a liar and when I told them I was going to give a bad review they said they would get back to me. I am 64 years old and my parents bought from this store for years as did other family members. Not like the father who gave great service. what a shame..

BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU RATING of F. I was screamed at, literally in my face, nose to nose, while surrounded by a bunch of thugs hurtling juvenile insults such as; "You're fat and ugly" I haven't had an experience like this since Grade School. STAY AWAY, they've earned their well deserved "F" rating.

Funny, how after the day I posted a negative review about this store that all of a sudden "customers" come from the wall cracks to defend it. I still believe this store should be boycotted. Especially after one of the sales persons said, "THOSE PEOPLE" to me. I am a man of color and was drawn back by the display of unprofessionalism they displayed. I will no doubt, spread the warning for this store.

While I have found the to be somewhat pricey on standard items I still prefer this place over the big box home inprovement place just because when I go there I get exacly what I want. They carry such a wide array of plumbing fixtures and they seem to be geared to their surrounding neighborhoods, (mayfair, rhawnhurst, oxford circle et al.) Also they have a knowledgeable staff on duty and are always willing to go the extra step to give advice to the novice or less experieced do it yourselfer so you get it done right and are not running back for more parts and supplies. Definitely the best I give them 5 stars and I have a very good local hardware store about 3 blocks from my home.

I tried to get a quote for a custom sized glass shelf. All I got from the guy " I need a pattern ... size will not help me ... make a carton pattern and bring in ...".

I HAVE BEEN BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY FOR OVER 30 YEARS. MY FATHER TOOK ME TO THIS PLACE. I BUILT A $600,000 HOME AND THEY SUPPLIED EVERYTHING FROM THE LAUNDRY SINK TO MY MASTER BATHROOM, TO MY WEBER GRILL. I HAVE READ SOME OF THE REVIEWS THAT THEY HAVE RECEIVED, AND I AM UPSET THAT SOME PEOPLE CAN WRITE WHAT THEY SAY. I DO KNOW FROM A PERSONAL FRIEND OF MINE THAT THEY HAD A REAL LOSER WORK FOR THEM IN 2007-2008 THAT THEY FIRED THAT DID SOME REAL BAD STUFF TO THEM, THIS GUYS NAME WAS NORMAN, AND HE EVEN UPSET ME. I WAS TOLD THEY FIRED HIM, AS THEY NEVER KNEW ALL THE LIES HE TOLD BUT AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED, THESE GUYS ARE THE MOST HONEST, HARDWORKING PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET. I SHOPPED THEM AGAINST THE BIG GUYS LIKE WEINSTEIN SUPPLY, GROVE SUPPLY AND ECONOMY SUPPLY, AND WESTEND HARDWARE, AND THESE GUYS WERE VERY COMPETITIVE, THIS IS WHY I SPENT $50,000.00 WITH THEM. DONT ALWAYS BELIEVE WHAT YOU READ ON THE INTERNET, AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED, THESE GUYS ARE FANTASTIC, HONEST, AND WILL GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP YOU WHEN NOONE ELSE WILL
