Chrissy Dumire is a Philadelphia-area based photographer who fronts her own business.

She studied at Antonelli Institute of Art & Photography  a prestigious accredited school employing faculty from the local area, NYC and around the world. While at Antonelli, Chrissy learned to master the processes of working with black and white film, outdoor natural lighting, editing software, studio lighting and more.

During her career, she has worked with film celebrity Anne Hathaway and her family. This was most definitely one of the highlights of my work so far, says Chrissy.

In addition, she spent three years as a newspaper photographer. Over 150,000 daily subscribers viewed her front page photos. Her time at the newspaper sent her to local and regional events, as well as multiple music festivals. Conveying the energy in a lead singers face or the passion raging from a drummers pulsating beats in a photo is so exciting, she says of her music photography. Chrissy shoots a large number of the Philadelphia-area concerts and festivals. In 2010 she worked as a lead photographer for Revelation Generation Festival.  High profile names such as Paramore, Jimmy Eat World, The Devil Wears Prada, All Time Low and Sleeping Giant, (along with her own appearance in Owl Citys Vanilla Twilight music video), comprise just a part of her ever-expanding portfolio.

In addition to music and studio photography, one of Chrissys most enjoyable jobs is to capture the fleeting moments of matrimony. Ive photographed more weddings than I can count; yet I remember every one of them and enjoyed each one differently. Each brought its own surprise. I always walk away from a wedding feeling like Ive known the happy newlywed couple my entire life.

Her personable demeanor, positive attitude and professional conduct guarantee the betrothed a stress free day. When a couple is comfortable with their photographer, they can laugh and smile with them.

This makes for brilliant and beautiful photos, she shares. Photography is something that drives Chrissy Dumire. Its more than just a hobby or a job. To shoot is to fulfill her passion. I honestly cant see myself doing anything else, she says. I know that I'm called to this. I want to make people laugh, and feel completely comfortable so they can look back at that special moment and feel like it just happened yesterday.

I strive to give people memories that will last a lifetime.
