I only saw Jen twice and both times it seemed a good fit but things changed drastically when I was admitted to an inpatient psych unit. She suddenly dropped me like a hot potato. Worse yet she wouldn’t even talk to me to explain why. The therapist in the hospital told me it was because I wasn’t trying hard enough but she denies this. She told my sister I needed to go to group therapy but she would continue to see me individually. I struggled to find a group that took my insurance. Although I kept her informed of everything I was doing and continued to affirm that I would go to group I still needed an individual therapist. When I finally found a group I called the office and told them and they told me she wasn’t going to see me anymore. When I asked why they said she hadn’t given a reason and she refused to return my calls.
