Called on 10/23/2014 at 1:30pm to get some gravel for my driveway, I was looking to some that day. Talked to the guy and he said he was busy all day but referred me to another place where I could get it. Nice guy - very helpful.

If a business has a phone number listed, it shouldn't lead to a private number. I called expecting to get a recording but instead received a rude comment and hang-up from the number. Get a separate line and an answering macine listing your hours if you don't want phone calls at unconventional hours. Not everyone can call from 9-5. The conversation I had went as follows:

ES&G: Hello

Me: Is this Emery Sand and Gravel?

ES&G: Good Lord, not at 10:30 at night (hang up).



I called at 9:50, unconventional perhaps, but as I said, I was expecting an answering macine to give me hours of operation.
