My therapist gave me tools to handle my day to day stress and I am now able to approach things without getting stressed out! Just walking in the office takes the stress away!

My husband was diagnosed with a serious cancer that required harsh treatments and numerous tests. As the spouse, I was not only concerned about his cancer, but how he would respond emotionally. In truth, it turned out that I was the basket case! My friend recommended that I should seek help w/ Joy Miller & Associates. After several visits with a therapist, I still have concern for my husband's illness, but I am able to cope with the situation much better. I am so grateful for the help my therapist has given me, because now I can be truly supportive of my husband instead of spending all my energy worrying.

Sometimes I just feel overwhelmed with work and family schedules, stress in general. I was to a point where I wasn't sure how to be effective with all my responsibilities. I went to Joy Miller & Associates for therapy during a challenging time in my life, and my counselor and their wellness activities helped make me a happy person again. A friend of mine referred me to this office, and I am so thankful I decided to go. I was nervous at first, but as soon as I walked in the door I knew I had made the right decision. My counselor listened, understood and provided the kind of advice and guidance I needed in my life. I also started the yoga classes offered there which was so beneficial for my mind and body. The overall experience at the office was excellent - the staff was extremely friendly / customer focused, and the atmosphere of the office made me feel comfortable. From the moment I walked into the office I felt comfortable. The woman at the front desk is so pleasent and warm. The therapists are all very professional and friendly. I was timid at first and each time I leave the office I am more happy I decided to go. Try it!

I was struggling with some family issues and took a chance on this place. I was unsure at first as I just found them in the phone book and called. From the minute I walked in the door I was pleased and knew I picked the right place. My therapist was incredibly helpful from the start and I have been very happy with the group practice.
