Well let’s start from the top this shop is top notch ! The owner is committed dedicated and very busy but that’s because they do high quality workmanship . Brought my C4 corvette 700R trans to them and they did everything they said they would from beginning to end. The trans is tight perfect and holding up a year later rock solid ! I waited a year to post my review to be sure that if a gave them a review it was time tested . Their attention to detail on my corvette was superb . They insisted before they do the final shift adjustments that I tune the car up I did exactly that and then they did the final adjustment because they don’t do Mediocre work and it’s perfect now and then ! No short cuts taken they are all they say they are and more . Wouldn’t even think about using anyone else guys you are the best thanks ! Mario from Tom’s River, NJ.

Took my used Dodge Dakota there on Tuesday. Picked it up on Wednesday. Works better than when I bought it a year ago.
Truthful from beginning. Could have lied and charged me much more and I would have never known. They chose to be real, truthful and prompt in the repair as promised.Thanks again guys,

dropped off my 95 gmc still waiting for Paul tell what broke my truck hasn't been looked at its bin there for two weeks no phone call I may take truck else where for somebody wants to make money Paul doesn't want to work for it he wants steel it no be honest

I went to Mount Holly Trans with a sizable project. Paul swapped out the automatic transmission in my 2011 ram 2500 diesel for a six speed manual transmission.

this project was very complex and time consuming. Paul was there every step of the way, offering up his expertise and professional opinion with sourcing parts, installation, and troubleshooting.

His fair pricing and professional attitude are merely a bonus when working with Mount holly trans. This shop is 2hrs away from where I live, and I will always return if needed. I recommend Paul for any transmission work, even the more complex such as my project. You will not regret using their services.

I recently took my work van to Paul. He quickly determined what the issue was with my transmission. Even though he fixed the transmission, he needed to determine what caused the issue in the first place so that it would not happen again. His team spent countless hours of there own time to determine what caused the issue. Most mechanics would have fixed the issue and moved on. Paul took the time to ensure this issue wouldn't happen in the future. If you're looking for an honest shop that does great work this is the place. I know mechanics can sometimes be difficult to trust, but I 100% trust Paul. He went above and beyond to help me and fix my vehicle.

I have used Paul for the last year for various issues/work needed I have had. He put 4.88's into my JKU, replaced gaskets and was able to identify and promptly fix issues within my transmission. I drive 45 minutes each way to make sure things are done right. Highly recommended.

I got a performance rebuild on my car here. Ive never had a problem with the car ever since. It shifts crisp and firm. Turn around time was great, the whole process only took 3 days from when i dropped my car off. The owner even stayed later than business hours so i could pick my car up. Would highly recommend to everyone. Pricing and time was fantastic.

I have used Mt. Holly Transmissions to rebuild transmissions in at least half a dozen vehicles for my business. Turnaround time has always been excellent, and we have never had an issue with any of the finished products. Paul has excellent prices and we will continue to use him in the future for any personal or business transmission related problems.

Had my trans done there three years ago still finding problems to this day. Long story short truck came home with a dent ATF all over the carpet. After about a month of arguing and threatening finally got a dollar amount to fix the dent which did not even cover the work. Started performing my own service on the trans and last night found a piece held together with J-B Weld. My Trans had to been rebuilt 2 or 3 times. shop is a mess they have no idea what they are doing

Recently went to my holly Trans and had Paul's race Trans put in my truck! Truck is now amazing absolutely love how my truck shifts now and feels grate!!quick turn around time kept me updated through the process let me know everything that was going on very professional people every time I called to check on the process of my truck he always answered or called me back extreamly quick highly recommend my holly to anyone that needs a Trans!!

Went to Paul after most of the big name Trans company's for diesels wouldn't last with my constant abuce. After paul built my Trans almost 3 years ago now and explains how it works and why I should use certain parts it's still goin and have been unable to blow up the unit also had him install a clutch on my car a few month back no issue would recommend him to any one he knows what he's doin

Took my racecar there to have the transmission redone and upgraded turn around time was good everything was explained what was needed why and cost. Had issue few weeks later with a defective torque conv. Which was confirmed by the supplier everything at the trans shop was taken care of and handled fast at no charge to me.

Paul is a stand up, hardworking, extremely accommodating business owner. He's professional, knows this business inside and out and I couldn't have asked for more courtesy and just an all around great guy to deal with. I recommend Paul at Mt. Holly Transmissions. He builds every transmission for us with Blackline Diesel. And we wouldn't want it any other way.

When my tranission blew in my 2006 dodge cummins after months of abuse of me owning it and racing it, i know i needed a unit that was gonna hold the power and get my truck shifting right. After calling around i came across paul. He was excellent, he answered all my questions i had and went above and beyond even coming to my personal shop to fix a trans line that i broke myself... he set the trans up perfect for what i wanna do and is still

Paul is very knowledgable in his work with transmission. Explained everything to me that he would be fixing on my '04 F150 and I couldn't be any more pleased with the work. Definitely will be using Paul for all my transmission needs!

Paul, the owner, claims to know all about your transmission repair/rebuild, but later you find out your vehicle sits... FOR MONTHS. When he says its finally fixed, long after you've paid the entire bill, it breaks down 6 miles down the road. He has a lawyer named Mark Molz in Lumberton on retainer for all of the lawsuits against him. You will not get your money back, or your transmission repaired correctly, if at all, and you will not get any help from NJ consumer affairs for fraud. Look at his facebook page, which he has deleted and re-created 3x in the past 12 months already, all negative reviews until he deletes and starts a new one. This guy has dozens of complaints lodged against him in court and for fraud. You will need to hire a $4,000+ mechanical transmission "expert" for court to get your $1000-3000 back.



His shop looks like he works out of an abandoned dirty building. He blocks in all the cars in his tiny parking area.
