I was a customer for 3 years but will never step foot in the store after the poor customer service and the way the manager treated the situation.



I bought a mouse for my new snake. And once I left I found out the mouse had mites. They were in my container so went back for a refund. The girl who gave me the mouse took it before I could tell her I want a refund.

so she came up with a new mouse from the same group and put in my container which now had mites. I don't know what the hell she was thinking and she was the manager. I said I wanted a refund and she gave me a free mouse card the next time I came in.

Needless to say that was the worst customer service I've gotten and my bf called to ask why I couldn't get a refund. And the SAME manager was arguing and actually hung up on my bf.

I will never go to charlies ever again, and to think its takes 45 mins to even get there and all the gas I've wasted and to see how they treat their customers is down right ridiculous!!!! And that manager shouldve been fired. She was obviously having a terrible day and took it out on my boyfriend and I.

Used to be the best place in town to buy fish. Now they have over priced fish of very poor quality. Their merchandise is marked up alot too. BEWARE half the fish there have ich or ripped fins.

I have been a customer of Charlies for years, since they first opened up in Pekin. I have enjoyed watching the buisness grow to what it is today. The staff is always friendly and most of them are very knowledgeable, and always willing to help you out with information. They have even gone so far as to order a rare spider that I wanted. just plain great service. I am glad they are here.
