This firm repaired my heat pump on May 12. Diagnosis: a leak. Repairs cost $66 .... and two weeks later, the problem recurred.When a different technician looked at the unit, he found different leaks. Estimate: $1450 to replace two small valves, because there is a lot of labor involved.Since this is a 15 year old unit, I began asking questions to determine whether repair was warranted--but got no information. Instead, a salesman, termed "comfort specialist" has to call on me.When I asked what my previous $660 actually bought, I got a runaround. Again, I have to sit through a sales pitch to get the kind of information I need to determine whether or not to repair this older unit.The final insult? I've been a member of their maintenance program for 2 years but was UNABLE to get an appointment in April. Since this issue came up before I was able to secure an appointment, I also have to pay full price, as they claim I'm not eligible for the 15 discount.RUN! Go to Bruce.
