From my first experience in Los Angeles coming from France, I noticed that I did not find the types of guitars I was looking for. I spent a lot of time on websites and forums, reading about amazing guitars and gear I was not able to find (and worse, play) at most retailers. I did some research, and learned that it was becoming more and more difficult to find guitars that were alternative to the leading brands. I found some alternative brand guitars and gear here and there at the monster retail music stores, but the selection always seemed very limited. Because the big name music gear manufacturers are forcing their retailers to purchase and display their instruments prominently over alternative brands, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find comparable, and even superior equipment constructed by smaller independent companies. So, I decided to try my luck and created an acoustic guitar shop that focuses on brands that are not seen at the monster retailers. My goal goal is to offer musicians what the monster retailers cannot: competent product knowledge, lessons for all levels, repairs, a place to perform and see performers on our in-house stage, and a friendly community atmosphere. It’s that simple!
