I tried out this new vet clinic - AM Veterinary Clinic, that is in the same building as the Animal Emergency Clinic. I had been to the Emergency Clinic before years ago with a different dog, but hadn't been there since.



My dog Brownie had developed some kind of a skin rash, and I had a coupon for $20 off. I decided to go ahead and try them out.



Since they had just opened (they said about 3 weeks ago) the veterinarian had plenty of time to spend with me. He answered all of my questions thoroughly, and seemed to really love animals. The Vet suspected that my dog has allergies, so we talked about several ways to go about helping her. I was impressed that he didn't push the most expensive or invasive treatment, but talked with me about my dogs age and diet and other things that might make one treatment or another better or worse. My Brownie is getting old, so I just really want her to be comfortable.



Anyways, I really liked the vet, the assistants were very sweet and seemed well-informed. I didn't feel rushed, and the vet and helpers were able to explain to me what was going on. In fact, I felt really good about this place, so I wanted to spread the word and help this fledgling vet practice get some business. The bill was very reasonable as well. My dog is going to need more care for her skin/allergy issues, so I hope in this economy, this place is able to stay around.
