We rented a $19.95 truck for less than 6 hours and ended up getting billed over $140. AND we only drove 29 miles! Did this place a favor, we picked up the truck they said we know you can rent for 24 hours, but if you don't need it that long can you please bring it back by 3pm, we have others that want to rent. The contract stated if the truck was not brought back at the same level (gas level) consumer will be billed $30. BUT what they DON'T tell you is that over and above the $30 fee, the also charge $4.00 per mile you drove for gas if you don't bring it back where it was. We put gas in the truck and we could not tell if it was exactly where it was before and NEITHER could the U-Haul guy he had to use some device and computer program to figure it out and we were 4 gallons short and we were bill a $30 service fee PLUS $47.50 for gas (4 GALLONS of gas). THEN because we brought the truck back early AS A FAVOR --- they got double the revenue on ONE truck. We have rented from this same place 4 or 5 other times, but NEVER were charged fees like this. We will NEVER rent from the again and warn everyone else NOT TO! NOT ONLY was my charge card billed over $140 they also billed the "hold" fee of $75 to my card which was supposed to be deducted from the final charges and it was NOT!! So in actuality we were billed over $200 for a $19.95 truck, I have called several times to get the 2nd $75 removed from the credit card and they are TOOO busy to look up the invoices and want ME to call them back, they are not calling me back, I have called 3 times, they are still too busy. I cannot SEE them so how do I know when they are busy and not busy.
