Drive ins are a ton of fun for the family. Bourbon Drive In is as good as any I've been too. Had to deduct a star for the unfriendliness of the elderly lady that works the entrance, and the lack of exit signs makes it confusing leaving after the movie ends. Overall though, still well worth the money and will continue going.

A Wonderful Drive In Theatre

My family has been going to the Bourbon Drive In for about 20 years. The long-time owners who run it, Trish and Lanny, and their workers are great friendly people who care about their customers. (I have seen customers who have car trouble and they even come out to help them.) They care about the safety of children and make sure to keep teenagers under control. They keep the grounds and food facility clean and well-maintained; the rest rooms are always newly painted and attended to. Customers are given a trash bag on the way in and are encouraged to take their trash inside, and for safety sake are not allowed to bring breakable glass bottles. They have a wide selection of food, candy, snacks and drinks--much more than you would expect for a small operation--just one screen. I like their fried pickles. However, don't expect cappucino or low calorie foods other than diet pop. Their prices are reasonable for two movies each weekend night. They are typically open from late March/early April until Halloween or until the weather becomes inclement.

This place is well worth it!
