Don't send your dog to get groomed here! I took my dog here three times. First time was ok. Second time they forgot to clip his nails, and the third time I had him groomed, I walked in early, and heard my dog "yelping" When I came home, noticed my dog licking and licking his right back inner thigh, where I found three nicks. He also kept shaking his head and rubbing his ear to the ground, which I found one nick in left ear.
I never said anything because he looked good when I picked him up.
I was too angry, this dog is my baby. Never again....

We have been bringing our dog here for 3 years. They are very friendly to her. I have never had a problem with being dissatisfied with her cut. Saturdays are very busy there!

I took my two terriers once. I thought the cuts looked okay. I agree with the one reviewer who stated that the attitude is less than professional at the salon; actually, to the point of being ignorant and rude. After the visit, I noticed one of my dogs moving slowly and she appeared in pain. She would not let us touch her for a week. She acted like she was beat. It was obvious from her actions that she was likely mistreated. They also keep the dogs all day even when it is not extremely busy. I would never return based on the actions of my dog. Sadly, my partner left a tip. I wish I could have both of the charges returned as it cost me a vet visit for my dog who was manhandled.

We have been taking our dog Jasper here for about two years and could not be more pleased with the work they do. Jasper can get snapy when it comes to being groomed and at first we took him to Petco and had two terrible experiences. We were charged more there and they even included a special handling fee because of Jasper's snappy behavior. This would have been fine if he came out looking groomed, but he did not. Since being referred to Absolutely Pawfect we have not turned back! They are fantastic and Jasper always come out looking handsome! Staff and owner are both friendly and caring and prices are reasonable.

We have been taking our dogs there for almost 2 years and I won't go anywhere else. The staff is very friendly and caring. I like that the dogs are all hanging out together and not kept in cages. I had a 13 year old Akita/Shepard mix and they were so careful and took great care of her while giving her a bath. Great place and service!

I called asking the owner, Samantha, if she did apprenticing for aspiring groomers and she happily stated that she did, in fact, she has done several apprenticeships and welcomed me to come in to see her shop and talk further about the $2000 I was to invest in my education with her. When I saw the shop, I was a bit skeptical because of the condition of the shops equipment (rusted, ect.), however, after hearing her out and seeing that she is in fact highly knowledgeable about the art of grooming, I decided to make the commitment. She offered me a free week as a trial period, to make sure that grooming was really what I wanted. I was completely satisfied up until the day after my training. I live about an hour away from her shop, and let her know I had a job interview that I had to go to in the late afternoon, and that I would have to leave about an hour or two earlier than I had hoped (upon starting training, she informed me that it was all about my availability and schedule). She agreed and let me know that was absolutely fine, even called me later on that evening and left a voice mail stating that I could take the day off and see how my interview goes and make sure grooming was really what I wanted. I then received a text message asking if I had received her voice mail. I responded that she was a great teacher and was certainly not wasting my time, and that if the weather is supposed to be bad tomorrow (which it was, she herself told me as we were working in the shop that day, the forecast predicted freezing rain) that I was just going to stay home. The next morning, I saw that the weather was alright, and thought it would be good to go into the salon and get some more training, even if it was only for a few hours. This is where my rating went from a 5 to a 1, and in all honesty, if I could give this shop a zero, I would. I asked if it would be alright for me to come in for a few hours if she had any dogs I could work on. She proceeded in a highly rude manor to let me know that I was supposed to be there at 9:00 and that I didn't show up, so she was already working on 'my' dog, and she had no use for me. She then began to ramble on about how I was not serious about becoming a groomer and suggested I look elsewhere for instruction. I was completely shocked! I was told not to come in, and then got chewed out and kicked to the curb the next day after calling to see if I could train for a few hours! So glad I didn't fork over the two grand for the apprenticeship. I'm highly appalled by this entire situation, and would recommend finding another teacher to train with. Luckily, I found someone, but in all reality, it all turned out to be a waste of a few days after all, but at least I still have my 2,000!

I have taken my dogs here for a few years now - two locations. While they have always been proficient in grooming, it's the attitude that I have a hard time with - and will keep me from going back. The owner is absolutely abusive toward the staff and I have heard very snarky remarks about customers.

I love this place place and the staff!! I brought my two Pomeranian's here because the previous place I had been taking them was cutting them wrong and it destroyed there coats... My little one looked as if her hair was all matted and stopped growing because they were shaving her. Now After a few cuts it's growing back with all her beautiful color! I am so pleased with everything and everyone here. I love the fact that they let them run lose and not cage them because I do not cage my dogs so they are very relaxed and happy after I pick them up. It is also helping my boy with his social skills. I give them a BIG A++

Happy dog owner,

We have been going to Absolute...

We have been going to Absolutely Pawfect since March of 2011 with our Silky Terrier. At first they caged him because he wasn't neutered and was marking his territory. We understood. As soon as he was neutered, he was left free and has had no more incidents. The staff is very caring, kind and affectionate with the dogs they groom. We are very happy with their service. Used to go to PetCo but have switched to Absolutely Pawfect and referred them to several friends. Keep up the good work.

We recently went here for grooming for a Black Lab. They claimed our dog was anti social and had to be placed in a cage. This is the first time anyone has ever said this about this dog. He loved going to training classes to see the other dogs. After we picked him up we noticed numerous spots of blood on the floor. It was then that we discovered they had trimmed his nails so short that they were bleeding. They offered a discount for the next time, however there will not be a next time even if it was free. No wonder he was anti social.
