I was on my way to Standford shopping center and my car broke down. I was a little skeptical about having my car looked at by a "Shell gas station's garage" and I was so impressive. Tung, the "petite" Asian mechanic seemed to know about cars and their mechancic. It turned out that my E420 Benz was operating on a failure ignition coil. I later called Beshoff for the same service and they quoted me almost triple.

My family and myself have been taking our cars to Barron Park Shell for over 20 years. We continue to give them our business due to the excellent customer service and quality of work that they provide. They have always used all of their resources in order to make sure that they have found out what was wrong with our vehicles and the most economical way to remedy the situation.



In addition to having our cars serviced at Barron Park Shell, we also purchase our gas there on a regular basis. I was there on Monday, April 13th. I did see the person who started a series of erroneous reviews in regards to Barron Park Shell. Fact,,,his car broke down on Easter Sunday and had it towed to Barron Park Shell. Fact...when I was there in the morning, I heard the owner telling him on the phone that the rate was $125 per hour to look at the car. It appears that after it was determined that the repairs would be over $1000 the customer said not to do anything. Then he did not want to pay for the diagnosis that he verbally authorized over the phone. What happened to paying someone for a honest job? Why does everyone want something for nothing these days?



As I mentioned, my travel took me by the Barron Park Shell 2-3 times on the day in question. In regards to hearing the previously mentioned phone conversation, I also had the pleasure of seeing the young man talk on the phone to his father continuing to ask him what to do. He called the police to get his car back and they would not step in since Barron Park Shell was not doing anything wrong. I also heard him say that he would just pay for it with his credit card and then dispute the charge. This is why I heard them ask for a cash payment!



Nonetheless, as I have previously mentioned Barron Park Shell has continued to provide me and my family with nothing but exceptional service for the past 20 years. If it really operated in this fashion would it still be open? Obviously, the first review is from a disgruntled person who did not get their way.



I also wanted to look at the youtube video that was mentioned to see if I was in the background. After extensive searching, I could not find any video. Wouldn't it be nice to leave the link and not just the accusation that there is a video?
