I have enjoyed these family, kid friendly buffets ever since my first child was born and he turns 42 next month, several other corps in Texas but every chance since they have been around in California we have visited, never a disappointment, and the food was very pleasant, four boys always hungry makes Hometown and the others a true blessing, I kinda feel for the restaurants bottom line, if you only knew my boys and their mother 5'1" petite but ate three times what I ate and our boys except the third one have her kind of bottomless pits!!!

I just want to know one thing. WHY cant Home Town Buffet staff people who can actually cook? ! With flavor! It's not brain surgery. It's just basic common food prep & cooking. Does this company require that chefs (& I use this term loooosely) prepare the food by set standards? If so somebody upstairs needs to be replaced. LONG over due. The staff turn over is swift & often in this chain,& when they do seem happen upon some one who actually manages to turn out flavorful properly cooked food, they get rid of them. What the heck is going on with this restaurant in Palmdale ca? I can actually say that over the course of five years, there has been a small pocket of a couple of seasons when they seemed to have it together for a min. then gone again. Who is responsible for the obvious loss of business due to sub standard cuisine being thrust upon the public again & again. And, doesn't the corporation care about profits & reputation. The inadequacy is ludicrous & wasteful.

My name is samantha i went to hometown buffet on sunday with my my little girl and we had a very good time the food there was great and the service was awesome the girl who was taking care of our table was Marisol my girl always looks for her cause she always makes her feel special she wants to go there everyday but we go once a week.

Terrific comfort food, newly remodled surroundings, very friendly and accomidating staff.

If you like to stuff yourself, and quantity is more important than quality, this is the place to go. If you like great food, go elsewhere. I would sum up the quality of the food as "TV dinner."

This store always has great food, and plenty of it, Not dry.



Servers at all restaurants are always courteous.
