The tech (Randy) called and asked if he could come up ahead of the scheduled time which was to my advantage and was very professional, knew what he was doing from the get go and explained every thing in lay mans language, as a result my furnace is heating better than it was when new. I personally would recommend this company and this particular tech.

Maurer came out to fix my furnace, guy had no idea what was wrong with it, he replaced a bunch of parts which took all day and still didn't fix it. Said his manager would have to come look at it. Never heard from them until I got a bill saying I owed $150. I called and complained multiple times. When I got the collection notice I called to complain again with no result. It showed up on my credit report as unpaid debt. I called them again and was told I had to pay to get it off my credit report, so I settled for half ($75) to get it removed from my credit report. Months later I checked my credit report and it is still there so I call them again and they tell me it will never be removed because "that's how credit reports work"... I've worked at a bank and a mortgage lender for over 15 years... I know how this works. And I also know that my furnace was never fixed! And all of this over $150!!!??? Come on! I have. Even dealing with this and them for over four years! And over $150!? Blows my mind. Never again.

I have used Maurers's for furnace and air conditioning service for many years. They have always provided prompt reliable service. Today I came to work to find the office at 80 degrees and climbing. Maurer's sent out a technician within 2 hours and he quickly found the problem.
