Camp Chippewa, located in Ottawa, Kan., offers year-around facilities for groups and organizations. The summer camp provides a Christian camping experience to children and youth of all ages. The camp offers daily devotions, worship, and Bible lessons. It also provides other activities, such as hiking, fishing, wagon ride, archery, low ropes, trail and lead rides, swimming, canoe and pedal boats, craft times, cookouts, and campfires. It offers various accommodations for guests, such as dining hall, north and swan creek cabin, and middle and Sauk-Fox cabin. The dining hall is a more than 4,000-square-foot building accommodating up to 125 guests. Its 1,400-square-foot building with three bedrooms can accommodate up to 18 guests and offers rooms with appliances, utensils, tables and chairs. Its seasonal facilities include a pool open during summer camp season, and a pool bathhouse open year-around for guest groups.
