Our dogs got skunked a couple of times, and we were also having racoon problems. We called Tim and he came right over and set up his traps. He caught 2 skunks and 2 racoons. He is very prompt and professional. His prices are very reasonable too. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or use him again if needed.

Poor communication.

I have used Prairie State Wildlife on two occasions and Tim has been terrific both times. Today, he came out in freezing temperatures to inspect my roof, fascia and eaves for signs of animal entry into my attic. He found a few problem areas and repaired them. I explained there was no need to make the repairs today and for him to return when the weather was milder but he chose to persevere and make the repairs. Tim is a dedicated, compassionate and fair individual. I highly recommend Tim and his company to efficiently and humanely remove animal pests in and around your home.

I would highly recommend Tim. He has always been prompt and goes above and beyond the call of duty, even coming out late at night and on holidays. It's nice to be able to find this type of dedication in these times. He has far exceeded the expectations of this subdivision.

Didn't do what they promised, don't use them

Tim is my hero. My first problem as under my front stoop. Tim guided me over the phone for several weeks and I fixed the problem without a visit. No cost! Then a squirrel build a nest between two eaves on my roof. Called Tim and he was there in three hours. Professional, kind, and compassionate. Don't call anyone but Tim at Prairie State Wildlife. Reasonable price and great knowledge of wildlife habit. Email for a referral.

He came. He saw. He eliminated my pest problem. No muss, no fuss service and very reasonable. He came and in two days dispatched the entire possum family that got under my deck and did the needed repairs to keep others out. He is now getting the skunk my neighbors have. My experience with Tim was great from start to finish. Unlike other companies I called, Prairie State Wildlife actually answered the phone. He came over same day to take care of my nasty bird nest situation, even in the blazing 100+ heat. Very professional, efficient, friendly, and he also helped with the bird mite infestation inside the kitchen with some pesticide, so I was able to cancel my exterminator appointment for Sat AM. I called Tim in the middle of a panic attack because my dog had killed a baby bunny. I was so upset but he was patient and understanding. I really appreciate his professionalism and for coming out even at 9pm. Thanks, Tim!

We were having issues with wasps in our home last summer. At one time we had 14 in our family room at one time. We called a couple of pest companies who I felt were trying to "sell me". I found Tim's company through the web. Tim came out several times until we could figure out where they were coming in. Once we knew how they were getting in we haven't seen another wasp in the house. Tim is very responsive. You call with a problem and he is out immediately. We called him this year with a skunk problem. And although we have yet to catch one, he came out to our home the day we called and had traps set for us. He's a super nice guy and very trustworthy and his fee is more than reasonable. Would absolutely recommend him!

I had not one, but TWO honey bee nests lodged in my soffit/roof line/attic. The honey was dripping down the side of my house, not to mention the thousands of swarming bees! I'd called 9 pest control companies and 3 bee keepers. They all told me - NO - they couldn't help me. About to give up, I found Tim on DexKnows. He lives 1-1/2 hours away from me, but agreed to take on the job. We were desperate and just thrilled that we'd finally found someone who would take on our ugly-messy project! He was so knowledgeable, that we were floored with how he was able to pinpoint the exact locations of the nests and cut holes right where the honeycomb was! He took out over 100 pounds of honey and comb from my nests over the course of 4 long days. He was extremely neat and clean, he took all of the 'carnage' away with him and left me with a honey-free house once again. I've worked with a myriad of contractors and service companies over the years and Tim was among the very best. Thank you!

I had a squirrel living in my attic that had died. I called Prairie State Wildlife at 11:00 on a Friday night for help. Tim was able to come the next day to help me out. After spending some time in my attic he was able to find the squirrel, even though I have vaulted ceilings. After that he spent some time spraying my attic with odor removal spray. I appreciated Tim's quick and efficient assistance. Prairie State Wildlife is definitely a company I call again in the future.

I had bees fling in and out under the eve of the house. I called Prairie State Wildlife and Tim was able to come the same day and take care of the problem. But that isn't all that he did. Tim explained the dangers of trying to seal the yellow jackets in the eve and how they get there in the first place. I really appreciated the time Tim spent after he treated the nest. I had a squirrel problem in my attic, when I contacted Tim late one evening at Prairie State Wildlife he was very fast to respond and came out the very next day to set up traps to catch the varmint. He was also extremely professional and knowledgeable about inspecting the roof and looking for the entryway of the critters. After the traps were set on the roof, Tim said to please contact him right away when something was caught. He was concerned about making sure that the animals were not stuck in the traps and inhumanely getting too hot in the traps. After he left, he made several follow up calls to see if anything was caught in the traps. Once the catch was made, he came out immediately to pick up the critter. Additonally, I had a duck that was dead in the backyard and he also removed that for us as well-which in my opinion was above and beyond what he was out here to do.
