Beware of prices! We paid $92 for one night of tent camping! They charge $25 per night which is reasonable but because we had three tents they charged us $25 per tent for ONE SITE. It seemed so wrong to pay this for one site. Before I could object my brother paid for it as a Father's Day gift to my dad. Amenities were nice but for that price I could stay in a nice hotel room! On top of this you are only aloud 2 people per tent if you have more it is $5 per additional person. This seemed bizarre for a campground to this it's common for hotels to charge per person but to do this with a campground is weird. They charge $24 for a bundle of wood and you need to "rent" a portable firepit from them, sites do not come with equipped. This place will nikel and dime you to death!

This campgrounds will not be o...

This campgrounds will not be on our re-visit list because:

-Very expensive! $45/nite PLUS $5 reservation fee---OFF-SEASON--unheard of in my experience!

They misrepresent their facility in their broschure. They RENT fire rings ($5) PLUS buying their wood is mandatory to get the fire ring -$8 per armload!! Showers are by metered ($) use. The "Beach" is NOT SANDY--It's covered with sea shells---which the Natives use as cutting tools! Footwear is a must---not fun for adults or kids! Boad rental shed is covered with cobwebs-v dirty and no attendant.

Check in was by a non-personable person (owner?) and zero explanation of the facilities.

Camp sites are VERY close together...Also, zero activities for kids or adults alike! No campstore, food service, etc. NO FUN--PERIOD!
