I would like to respond to Jamers056 response foe Kinney's Autotune on 06/27/2014. I just seen the post. I'am the guy that you talked to. The sad thing is i never asked him if he was going to rob the place. I live in an apartment in the back of the shop i heard something in the front of the shop,( it was after hours close to 6:00pm) I walk to the front and see someone trying to open the door and pulling on the handle, I walked up to the man and asked what he is doing and that it is after hours can I help you. Jamers056 made the comment himself,( it's not like i'am trying to rob the place ) he never asked me if he could leave his vehicle so i don't know where he got that notion. So Jamers056 tell the truth and stop with imaginative tales you fabricated to bash a business that are not true. Kinney's Autotune is a great place and honest, cheapest labor rate in town , and is also owned by a women. To all that read this review tell Valerie the owner that you read the reveiw and you get 10% off your next bill. Thanks to all.

I went to the shop about 5:30 pm to see if they could work on the car. I wanted to leave it on friday because I live in Chico and I didn't want to have to go back again. My dad, son in law and I were looking for the hours on the window when a guy came out of the back gate and asked us if we were trying to rob his place. I said no do we look like the kind of people who would rob someone. I then asked him if I could leave the dar and he said no and that I would have to bring it back on Monday. It was risky to drive the car there and it is very close to my daughters house so it was convenient but I won't go back there if they pay me for the repair. Very poor customer service.

I am happy with there services. The people are friendly and the work done was with attention to detail and worth consideration to my wallet.

My dad has been going here for a while and so when my car started to miss fire he told me to go to them. I was hesitant at first just because I don’t like the mechanics due to past experiences with others trying to sell you repairs that you didn’t ask for or even need. I asked them to change out my spark plugs due to the miss firing but after dropping my vehicle off they promptly called me back and advised that all my spark plugs looked fine and it was most likely a ignition coil, they had one shipped to them from Sacramento and installed the next day, they did not charge me for the time spent on the spark plugs originally and also saved me $100 from switching out all the plugs and the time needed to do it. I will defiantly be going back there if I have any other issues that I can’t figure out for myself or if i mess something up trying to fix it myself. Thanks again guys.
