St. Michael s School offers biblically based education to students in grades kindergarten through eight. It offers weekly classes in music, art, physical education and computers. Daily Spanish classes are also offered at the junior high level, along with prealgebra and algebra. In addition to daily religious education classes that emphasize traditional Catholic values, St. Michael s students regularly celebrate liturgies. The school offers its students various athletic opportunities, such as basketball, bowling, cheerleading, competitive dance, football, soccer and volleyball. It also offers extracurricular activities that include a student council, yearbook, newspaper, band, and video, chess, checkers and poetry clubs. It offers various student services that include bus transportation, extended day care, a homework hotline and summer enrichment program. St. Michael s School is located in Orlando Park, Ill.
