never again . . .

George Hammond came out immediately to diagnose the problem with my elliptical trainer on July 20, 2012. He charged $165 ($80 service call and $85 deposit for part). Check cleared immediately. Was supposed to repair the following friday. Never showed or called. Two weeks later (Aug 6) I called. He answered the phone and was coming that friday. Never happened. Spoke to him only when he answered the phone - HE NEVER RETURNED A CALL! I spoke with him five times. Every time was an excuse. After two months, requested refund in a message on the phone. No response, no refund. Currently filing complaints at better business bureau and with insurance bond (if it actually exists).

They were responsive for repair, but when the machine broke down with the exact same issue a few months later, they said it was out of warranty. I asked for information on the warranty and a receipt. George told me that he would get the information and that was the last contact I had with this company. Still after several emails no response. In hindsight, I would request a receipt and warranty details prior to work being done. For the amount of money spent I feel a bit taken advantaged of.
