This is still the best place to trust your vehicle to. Showroom has a little bit of everything on display and is neat and clean. Could care less that I maybe spent $30.00 more than shopping on-line.... Dealing with Gary was great. He help narrow my choices, and got me a great new Car Play unit with super sounding speakers. My car even got vacuumed!!

I called them for a car starter but what they were selling was not satisfactory. So I purchased one from mid city engineering on line. I tryed to install my self but got frustrated getting into the dashboard. I called them to install my unit and got a very nasty salesperson who told me there insurance wouldn't let them Install it due to liability. He then went on to tell me that they get people all the time who buy things online to save money and expect that they can get it installed by a professional. Mind you no fee was ever discussed. Imagine the day when you purchase a toilet and can't get it installed because the plumber who gets $150.00 an hour tells you his insurance company won't let him. Welcome to the new world. Car audio is tough to deal with. Go on you tube and do it yourself it's very satisfying.

Really happy with my visit to Jo-Di's. They know what they are talking about. I spent more than I was expecting to, but have an incredible sounding system now, and I couldn't be happier.



Highly recommend Jo-Di's

I had an Alarm/remote starter installed by Jo-Di's in Orange,CT. I will NEVER go back and HIGHLY recommend that you stay far away from this place !!!!! I had a BRAND NEW truck..I dropped it off the night before and I still had to wait 2 hours to pick it up.... They totally did a horrible job on the install..My alarm would go off for no reason approx 3 times and hour... They NEVER installed the hood trigger..it's a safety feature so your engine can NOT be started if someone is working on the engine!!!!!(comes with the starter they just didn't install it or mention to me it was left off) My new truck totally stunk of cigarette smoke when i picked it up.... and the worst past of all...THEY SCRATCHED MY TRUCK when installing the horn under the hood...This truck was BRAND NEW and they didn't bother to use a fender cover when working on it.... I had to go back and waste 3 more hours on a saturday to have everything fixed except for the scratch.... The manager told me the owner (a lady) of all the Jo-Di's would call me and we would discuss the scratch and how we will go about getting it fixed !!!!! Well she NEVER had the decency to call me...Which is why i decided to let everyone know exactly how BAD Jo-Di's in ORANGE,CT. is....... thanks for NOTHING JACK !!!!!!! ps..they NEVER apologizes either....

This is a local CT business thats been around since 1971. I found the store to had ampal product. The manager which was down to earth and not pushie did a great job sterring me in the right direction. If you dont like a" big choice" store and want to deal with a car audio only store then Jodis is for you. I like to deal with local companys that have been around along time. If you give them a call you'll see what im saying.
