I bought in a wedding dress with 8 or 9 layers to it. Also, the dress was ordered in a size too small. Fast Alterations and Tailoring made my dress perfect. They had to cut off many inches because I'm only 4'11". The main seamstress was amazing!! She was open and honest and told me exactly what she thought needed to be done to make the dress what I wanted it to be. And she totally delivered!! Many inches off the length, letting out the top with ruffle layers and bead work. The price was perfect. I actually expected it to be more. They did amazing. I will go back for all of my future alterations and Tailoring. Thank you!!

NEGATIVE STARS I told them the instructions for the alterations. They told me that they understood. I picked up the item and they did exactly opposite of what I asked. When I brought it up to them that they did it wrong, they told me that they did exactly what I wanted (lengthen the pants) and that they did not cut any fabric. Went back with proof that they screwed up and the young girl switched gears and told me that she did shorten them per my request and that she did cut them. CYA and refused to talk to me further. Terrible service and customer service is NON-EXISTENT. They do not care if they screw up b/c in the end, it is YOUR FAULT!

I just picked up my daughters prom dress. They had to do lots of alternations on it and they did a wonderful job! It looks and fits beautifully on her. I would highly recommend them!

I took my bridesmaid dress in back in December for a wedding that was two weeks away. Ana was able to have the dress done the same week I took it it.She does excellent work!

I went to fast alterations last min. when a friend backed out of altering my wedding dress! Ann was AWSOME. She got me in right away and even made suggestions for my dress that I wouldn't of even thought of!! I was even more impressed when she told me how much it was going to cost!! Davids Bridal was going to charge me 3x what she was charging me and she was doing more work!! I sent my bridesmaids there today and their alterations were extremely affordable as well!!! I couldn't believe how fast she is able to get them done eaither!!! I will deffinatly be going back there for ALL of alteration and tailoring needs!!

I have never had alterations done in the past, so I didn't know where to take an outfit that I wanted to wear to my class reunion. I needed it altered quickly, so I decided to try Fast Alterations because they said that they could have the job done in 2 days. They were wonderful! When I called, I mentioned that I was on my lunch hour and needed to come right away. The person who answered the phone said that she had a doctor's app't since she wasn't feeling well, but she would wait for me. When I arrived, she greated me and had me try on the outfit so that she could take the measurements. She took my payment and I felt comfortable that they would do a good job. Sure enough, when I picked it up 2 days later, the alterations were done to my satisfaction. They have definitely created a new customer. I already took another item in the next week and am looking through my closets for more items that need alterations. Give Fast Alterations a try. They are professional, affordable, and conveniently located in Benson.

I don't understand where any of the bad reviews came from. This place is fabulous and does beautiful work. When we received my daughter's dress which the shop ordered from the designer it was horrid and looked nothing like the picture. We were down to the wire with homecoming. The dress needed mega alterations and darn near had to be started over from scratch. The dress was so bad that the owner made it her mission to turn this monstrosity into a work of art. Fast Alterations & Tailoring did beautiful work, so much so that when the alterations were done, the dress looked BETTER than the picture on the designer's website (mind you, it's from a well-known designer). For the work that had to be done (basically reconstructing the entire dress), the price was fantastic. My daughter was the best dressed at homecoming. The customer service was beyond fantastic. I really don't know why someone would say in another review that it was not good. This shop was a lifesaver and turned my daughter's tears into a smile. I would recommend this place to anyone and this is the only place I will EVER use for future alterations.

I agree with Mr. B's review. I have taken in pants to be hemmed on 2 different occasions. They were hemmed exactly to my specifications & were ready when promised. I was actually a little frantic when I couldn't find the phone number in the yellow or white pages of the local telephone directory today. I need to take a couple more pair of pants in for hemming and I didn't relish the idea of taking them elsewhere. Since this is the Christmas season, I was afraid they would not be able to accomodate me. I told the woman who answered the phone that I need these pants hemmed by tomorrow because I am going out of town. She said there was no problem because they offer same day service. Just what I needed.

I found fast alterations online and decided to give it a try, to support a local mom/pop shop. although completely out of my way, as I work dowtown, and live in Millard. I dropped a couple of pairs of pants off Tuesday, July 15th about 4:30pm (they are open til 7pm) She said they would be ready anytime after 10am, on Thursday, July 17th. There was a guy in the store who was picking up a pair of pants, only the length had not been hemmed, and he had to leave them again. I came to the store at 12:20pm today, July 17th (2.5 hours after she said to come) and they had not been touched. They asked if I could come back in 30 min. I needed to be somewhere in 30 min, so they asked if I could wait 10-15 min for them to do it. I wondered...why does it take 10-15 min but they are 2-day turn around. They finished my pants in 15min, and I asked if I should maybe receive a discount. She bluntly said "NO". I tried on my pants, and although 1 was not satisfactory, i just wanted to get out of the unairc

I am a first time customer with this establishment. And I found my first experience to be both positive and pleasant. I had a jacket that needed a small repair and came to realize this business is literally within our neighborhood. Not only was it close to home, but I find the business hours to be very convenient. And the repair was done in a timely manner. Both the owner Ana and her assistant Blanca, I found to be very personable and professional.

This is a nice shop, she knows what she is doing. In this world we have gottten used to throwing away clothes. We should be thinking green, and recycling our clothes. This can be accomplished more easy is you can take our clothes into a tailor to have them altered or repaired. Especially if we have something we love and maybe it doesn't fit us any more. Or if you can't get clothes off the rack that fit just right, and need a tailor. I recommend you go to this shop and have it altered. They'll do it right.
